FTSE falls sharply as market opens
Following a bad day of trading in Asia which saw the Nikkei close down 5.5%, London has had an appalling start to the day with the FTSE losing 4% of its value in the first ten minutes of trading. The fear appears to be setting in and today looks like it could be an even worse day for the markets than yesterday.
